As responsible stewards of our clients’ capital, engagement with companies, fund managers and policymakers is a vital part of what we do.
We are responsible stewards of our clients’ capital
No asset manager or company is perfect, and this is why we need to use stewardship to continuously push for positive change.
Our stewardship actions protect our clients’ capital and helps it grow, by addressing sustainability weaknesses that bare financial risk and opportunity. We see these as the same goal: a fairer, more sustainable economy supports long-term returns, and that’s part of our fiduciary duty.
Our active approach to engagement is a core part of our service. It’s an effective lever to bring about positive social and environmental outcomes.
